Who We Are
Integrated Trade Services, or ITS, is a family owned and operated business. ITS was founded in 1996 by a father and son team, Bob Boyajian Sr. and Bob Boyajian Jr.
In the late 1940’s Bob Boyajian Sr. worked as a produce clerk in a San Francisco grocery store. He quickly climbed the ranks and became a produce manager and buyer for several Bay Area grocery stores. He personally selected all of the produce for the stores that he managed. As the years passed his expertise expanded and he gained knowledge of both the retail and the wholesale side of the produce industry. He began to foster lasting relationships with reliable growers, shippers and brokers. This proved to be vital when sourcing the best quality produce and competitive pricing for his customers. His access to a consistent supply chain and his expertise in the business gave him leverage to offer exceptional service to his customers & earned him a reputation as a true produce man.
Twenty years later, Bob Boyajian Sr. was joined by his son, Bob Boyajian Jr., or Bobby to those that know him best. Bobby followed in his father’s footsteps, he started working unloading produce trucks as a young teen and and as a produce apprentice during high school. Eventually, Bobby teamed up with his father and together they bought produce for several independent grocery stores.
In September of 1996, Integrated Trade Services was established.
In the years that followed, the two men continued to cultivate relationships with growers and suppliers while building a strong customer base.
Bobby is still at the helm and has been joined by three of his four children. His two sons, Dayne and Jake, and his daughter, Haley.
Today, with the help of a dedicated and talented team of buyers, warehouse staff and administrative support, the legacy built by father and son continues.
